8 oz fresh turkey breast, sliced thin
4 slices whole grain bread
4 slices crispy bacon
1 ripe avocado, sliced
4 leaves Romaine lettuce
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup cucumber sticks
1 cup carrot sticks
1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1/4 cup almonds or walnuts
Instructions
Start by toasting the whole grain bread until golden brown.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on each slice of toasted bread. Layer the turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, and tomato on two slices of bread, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cut the sandwich into quarters or halves.
In a bento box, place the sandwich pieces in one section and arrange cucumber sticks, carrot sticks, and mixed berries in adjacent sections.
Place a small container of dressing or extra mayonnaise on the side for dipping.
