Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this spice mixture all over the salmon fillets.
  4. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  5. Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
  6. While the salmon is baking, prepare the sauce. In a blender or food processor, combine the ripe avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, and cilantro (if using). Blend until smooth and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Plate the salmon and drizzle generously with the avocado lime sauce.
